How a UAE Healthy Snack Brand Was Built From Scratch | The Nutrible Story

Before Nutrible became a brand, it started with a simple frustration. If you walk into most supermarkets in the UAE today, you’ll notice something interesting — almost every snack shelf is filled with fried potato chips, refined flour snacks, and products loaded with artificial flavouring.

What Shocked Me Even More Was this:

Many famous “healthy” snack brands didn’t even contain real vegetables or real ingredients in meaningful amounts. Most were heavily processed and made using artificial flavour systems, colouring agents, refined starches, and additives.
As a consumer, I started questioning something very basic:

Why are Healthier Snacks So Difficult to Find?

Like many people, I would go to the gym on and off. But during exams, work pressure, family occasions, travel, or busy periods, consistency became difficult. And every single time I stopped going regularly, the weight would slowly come back. That’s when I decided to experiment with my food habits instead of depending only on workouts.
I started drinking more water. I increased my intake of salads and fiber-rich foods.
Most importantly, I completely reduced refined flour-based rotis and regular rice and shifted heavily toward millet-based meals.
And surprisingly… The weight loss became sustainable. For the first time, I noticed that I wasn’t gaining the weight back again. That experience changed the way I looked at food forever.

I realized something very important: Most people don’t fail because they lack discipline. They fail because healthier everyday options simply don’t exist around them.

The vision was simple: To create snacks that people could enjoy more regularly without feeling guilty afterward.

Not just “healthy marketing.”

We wanted snacks with:
i) No frying
ii) No artificial coloring
iii) No artificial flavorings
iv) No added sugar in core products
v) No palm oil
vi) Cleaner ingredients people can actually recognize
But building Nutrible was not easy.

What came next involved months of trials, testing, flavour experiments, sourcing challenges, packaging struggles, sampling stalls, and making hundreds of people taste products to understand what actually works in the real world.
